Data Deletion Policy

This Data Deletion Policy describes how you can delete your account and content on Calmly Kidsand how Vista Studios Ltd handles deletion requests.

1) Self-service deletion

If available, you can delete certain content (uploads, generated outputs, projects) in your account dashboard: https://calmlykids.app/my-account.

2) Account deletion request

You can request account deletion by using the in-app delete function (if available) or by emailing [email protected] from the email associated with your account.

3) What gets deleted

  • Account/profile All profile data, including name, email, authentication data, and any users uploaded photos, and AI renders are also deleted.
  • User uploads (including private pictures): All uploaded images and generated outputs are deleted.
  • Generated outputs (AI files): All generated outputs are deleted.
  • Usage/security logs: All usage logs are deleted.

4) Timing

We aim to complete deletion within 60 days after verifying your request, unless a longer period is required for security, technical, or legal reasons.

5) Backups and residual data

Deleted data may persist in a secure backup location for a limited period. Backup retention is up to: 90 days.

6) What we may retain

We may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, chargeback handling, tax/accounting, and security investigations: Stripe.com customer data is retained for 13 months after the account is deleted.

7) Retention exceptions – payment records

When you request deletion of your account, we delete all personal data stored within our systems, including profile information, uploaded content, and AI-generated images.

However, certain transaction-related records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud prevention purposes.

Payments on our platform are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. Stripe may retain transaction and payment-related data in accordance with its own privacy policy and legal obligations. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Retained transaction records are limited to the minimum information necessary for compliance, such as transaction ID, amount, date, country, and tax-related data. Where possible, such records are disassociated from your deleted account.
